On the 19th of March Oasis Park Fuerteventura organises the first Course of "Introduction to Zoo Medicine."
It is the first training open to the public with these characteristics that is carried out in the Canary Islands.
The family of giraffes in Oasis Park Fuerteventura, is the largest in Europe, and continues to grow with the birth of two new offspring of this species; which is currently at high risk of extinction. The increase in population with these two new specimens is a great success for us.
With the completion of the first phase of reintroduction of this endangered species, its population could increase by 30% by 2019.
